do I own the land on the park?
No, you are buying a holiday home and you rent the ground from siblu on a yearly basis with the choice to renew your contract every winter.
how much is the ground rent?
As an example, the annual ground rent at le Domaine de Litteau starts from 2050€, though it depends on the park and the pitch chosen.
how is the ground rent payable?
You can pay your ground rent in £ sterling or in € euros.
when is the rent due and is it due in one lump sum?
The rent is due in December each year and you can choose to pay in one single payment, two payments or six monthly installments.

There is a one off installation cost of approximately 1000€. Unlimited water and electricity are included in your ground rent during the season.
what must I budget for each year?
The annual ground rent (this amount will depend on the size of your pitch), your gas bottle consumption, 30€ approx per bottle, holiday home insurance, holiday home winterisation - protecting your holiday home from winter damage, 105€ approx (should you choose our siblu team to carry out this work).

First of all you would receive two reminder letters then you would be asked to remove your holiday home from the siblu pitch at your expense or arrange to sell it back to siblu.

Yes, either to siblu exclusif or privately but you can not cede the pitch because you do not own the land.
how much would I get for my holiday home if I sold it after a year?
If you were seriously thinking of owning a holiday home for just one year we would advise you not to go ahead as holiday homes are like cars - they do depreciate and the first year is the worst. After that it really depends on how well you look after your holiday home and the state of the economy.
how much will it cost to insure my holiday home?
Siblu offers you the possibility to insure your holiday home with AGF Insurance for 190€ per annum.
does the holiday home have to be insured with siblu’s nominated insurer?
No, you have the choice to select your own insurer. However, should you choose your own, we will require proof of cover. As we are able to negotiate a group policy, we believe it will be hard to match the cover, premium and prompt/fair settlement of claims. We advise you to ensure any alternative policy provides the same levels of cover.
what does siblu’s nominated insurance cover?
It covers damage or loss to both the structure and contents of the holiday home however there are limitations. Further information available in the summary of cover available at park.
if I claim, will my annual premium go up?
There is no penalty for making a claim; whilst all insurance companies look at the overall claims they receive in a year, the annual premiums are negotiated on a group basis, not on individual claims.
what happens if I need to make an insurance claim?
The siblu exclusif owners’ representative on park will help you through the process, step by step.
